![]() Above: The texture on the back is also fused silver. I darkened it a lot with liver of sulfur, then lightly sanded the surface so the little bumps look like stars. The brass fish are etched in nitric acid. All the stars and crabs are riveted on. The curvy wave shapes on the fish fins are a homage to Japanese wood block prints. I used the same curvy shapes on the bezel. |
